    InEnArt is a research platform. Visitors explore content, leave comments and can apply to get authors themselves.

    The articles on the main interface are interconnected through topics: Events, Places, Future Archive, Topography of Memory, Seen Beyond, I-Collect or Voices.

    InEnArt is an initiative of DIYALOG, a not-for-profit organization based in Istanbul working in the field of art and culture. Since its establishment DIYALOG has been a driving force in facilitating cross-cultural collaborations and circulating art and culture globally.

  • What you can expect


    The InEnArt plattform consists out of different Project-Platforms exploring new styles of digital narrations.

    Sense of Time is our main experimental field as a collective diary reflecting time and space. A visit to Sarajevo for the Underground Art Biennial inspired several personal views on Bosnia Herzegovina, it's art scene and history.

    The uprisings around Gezi Park in Istanbul was one of our focus in 2013. We explore the humor and creative tools of the protestors. Our Video work about Çapulcu Mehmet Güleryüz was part of the exhibition "Exit" by artist Carla Mercedes Hihn in Hayaka Artı Art space in June 2013 exploring art and culture as Place Hacking.-

  • Our Recommondation

    land grabbing130We are pleased to introduce you our new multimedia project and the StreetWalking App dedicated to urbanization and city planing in Istanbul and Berlin.

    Follwoing the protests in Turkey 2013 the InEnArt team are developing this video project and its App at the moment. The final launch will be this fall. 

    StreetWalking is a reflection of the urban methamorphosis based on topics like culture, politics, social values, gentrification and commercialisation of the society.

  • Tightrope Walking


    As the struggle in Gaza escalates we started to examine the characteristics of culture and architecture that systematically makes it a political weapon specifically in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

    Tightrope Walking refers to the funambulist Philippe Petit crossing illegally the space between the two towers of the World Trade Center in 1974.

    The outcaster Jean Gene became as well a funambulist when he witnessed to the wreckage in the Palestinian refugee camp of Chatila.

    Tightrope Walking is part of the Urban Voices discurs.

    InEnArt aims to become a hub for collaborations and its community are planned to provide artists, curators, cultural operators, academicians and intellectuals the opportunity to engage with each other and to develop collaborative works.

    rainbowPublic Space as a Political Forum

    Urban Voices opens a critical view on cultural practices and phenomena that expresses the ethos, aspirations, and dreams of a specific population during a well-defined era and that triggered dramatic cultural changes. 

    The InEnArt team and its authors will regularly ad new posts, articels and comments to Urban Voices and will start with a critical debate about it.


  • Sea Elephant Travel Agency

    01_travelThe online version of Sea Elephant Travel Agency launched May 2013 by InEnArt in memory of Hüseyin B. Alptekin offers an open forum focussing on inter-actions of variety of populations and cultures in the Black Sea Region.

    It displays manifestations, performances and exhibitions that took place in the past mostly in the name of the Black Sea Project and invites artists and art professionals to participat in an ongoing visual and performing arts laboratorium beyond any borders.


  • Mahalla Festival

    Generating Cultural Narratives Beyond Borders

    The aim of the festival was to enable an exchange of experience, to develop joint strategies in the cultural sphere and to create new synergies related to migration, exile and cultural identity.

    The first Mahalla Festival 2017 in Istanbul presented 37 cultural initiatives and cultural workers from 16 European and from their neighboring countries.

  • Featuring Kabul


    On the invitation of the Goethe Institut Kabul in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Sabine Küper-Büsch, chief editor inenart, and Thomas Büsch, project manager inenart, are instructing a 5-day workshop on the subject of culture journalism in Kabul, Afghanistan, from the 9th to the 13th of November 2013.

    Cultural journalism offers the chance to work in a more individual and creative way than in the field of news journalism.


  • Searching Traces

    The Goethe-Institut and the InEnArt team were organizing in December 2014 a workshop series titled Searching Traces for and with migrants from Arabic countries in Istanbul. We were sharing our talents between December 15 to 23. Syrian creative Dissidents in cooperation with colleagues from Turkey and from Europe were conducting workshops in the disciplines Modern Dance, Theatre and Filmmaking.


  • Sense of Time

    01_senseSense of Time is the first interactive module of the Cultural Internet Platform InEnArt. Sense of Time is a text and image driven, non-linear narrative based on wiki and blog technologies.

    Sense of Time encourages artistic communication forms that reflect the associative thinking of a collective.

    Different actors make requests, which are linked together by subjects and topics.


  • Three Sided Football

    refreeFirst Ever Three Sided Football Match in Turkey

    InEnArt was organizing the three sided football match in Turkey in the frame of parallel events of the 13th International Istanbul Biennial on September 14th.

    For the match in Istanbul InEnArt has invited the Philosophy Football FC from UK, Dynamo Windrad from Germany and AYAZMA FUTBOL KULÜBÜ from Turkey to participate into the match.
