Disobedience Archive<\/i> is an ongoing, multi-phase video archive and platform of discussion that deals with the relationship between artistic practices and political action.<\/p>\n

The project is an atlas of the plurality of resistance tactics such as direct action, counter-information and biological resistance. By setting in motion different signs and situations, Disobedience<\/i> is presented as a network of open topics, brought together by artists, activists, film producers, philosophers and political groups.<\/p>\n

The exhibition at SALT Beyo\u011flu is curated by Marco Scotini and Andris Brinkmanis. On this occasion the archive will include internationally sourced materials that date from the 1970s Parco Lambro uprising that took place in Italy up until the 2013 Gezi Park events in Istanbul.<\/p>\n

Disobedience was presented in Berlin at PLAY platform for Film & Video<\/a> and Kunstraum Kreuzberg\/Bethanien<\/a> in collaboration with Transmediale 05<\/a> (January-February 2005), in Prague at Prague Biennale 2<\/a> (May-September 2005), in St. Petersburg at Manifesta Journal Discussion<\/strong> (July 2005), in Barcelona at \u201cInterferencia\u201d<\/strong> (July 2006), in Eindhoven at \u201cForms of Resistance\u201d exhibition at Van Abbenmuseum<\/a> (September 2007 – January 2008).<\/p>\n
