90 years of Marie Marcks

If you don’t know Marie Marcks don’t tell me about the lack of Humor of Germans and that we are supposed to lack good Cartoonists.

Get a ticket to Frankfurt first. Have a look at the Caricatura Museum. It’s in the city center at a beautiful location. On Thursday the 9th of August there is the opening of a retrospective of Marie Marcks works. She is the grand dame of the German Cartoonist scene.

Then get a ticket for Kassel. Beside the documenta you can see the Caricatura. A great show of the best Cartoonists in our part of the world.

Then we can talk about humor again 🙂
