Nicole Hoesli

In her works, Nicole Hoesli transforms herself into personalities from the worlds of film, music and arts and imitates them illusively. She re-enacts scenes with simply made coulisses and inserts the scenes almost perfectly into the original material. The break becomes obvious and in this manner questions the construction of identity.

Artist Nicole Hoesli studied at Zurich Art Academy and at Central Saint Martins in London. Her videos and installations have received many awards since 2006 and have been exhibited extensively across Switzerland.
