Checkpoint at Depo

Depo is showing the results of a serialş of workshops in Berlin, Istanbul and Cyrpus. The exhibitions title is Checkpoint. Borders, bufferzones and checkpoints are a reality worldwide. After the fall of the wall in Berlin 1989 Cyprus is the spot in Europe, where these items of political devision are most visible.
Artists, filmmakers and social scientists collaborated in the project to create a parallel realitu to the almost forgotten political one.
The umbrella projects name is bufferzone, organized in 2013 in collaboration with Uqbar from Berlin and EMAA (European Mediterranean Art Association) from apartman Projesi.
